August is our travel season for the summer. In the beginning of August, Qun and Regan from New York drove to Boston to see me. Mama planned a Rockport trip for us. The first stop was the famous Halibut Point State Park.
Formerly the Babson Farm granite quarry, Halibut Point now is a uniquely beautiful coastal seascape.
The building from far distance is the park's Visitors Center, which was constructed as a fire control tower to provide aiming information for the massive coastal defense guns late in World War II [1].
I was ready for a good walk after a good nap in the car on the way here.
Rocky beach!
Wow, a snake!
We were walking toward the trail that surrounds the park.
Yiiiiii, where is everybody?
Baba, I am following you.
We are here!
Sand beach, is always the ultimate happiness in the summer.
Lex, let's go wash your hands and feet. We are about to leave. Baba said to me.
