My Little Sister: Adelaide (Ada) Luter

On May 21st, my little sister, Adelaide (Ada) Luter, came to our family. Adelaide is of old German origin and it means "noble kind".  Adelaide is also the name of the capital of South Australia, and it is the fifth-largest city in Australia. Baba picked the Adelaide name because of the spaceship commander, Adelaide Brooke, in Doctor Who.  He actually picked the name three years ago before I was born since he did not know if I was a girl or boy.  I wonder if Mama knew it at that time.

I managed to go to the hospital to see little Ada despite of my busy preschool schedule. Mimi and Papa came all the way from Birmingham, AL to hold Ada in their arms. Papa also was anxious to see Ada.

When Ada could finally come home, Baba and I picked her up from the hospital. Look, she did not want to let me and Baba go.

What a big helper I was!

My mission is going to be ended here. From now on, Ada is going to take charge of our Journey.

Aaaaaaa! I was finally home. My little pink chair was waiting for me. Time for me to take a nap after a long trip.

I thought it was a good idea to start exercise as early as possible.

My big brother, Lex, was feeding me.

Let's have a girl talk.

We were so ready for a photo shot. Everyone looked the camera, and smile.

This time, we were not ready ...

My Third Birthday: "Lego" Party

My third birthday is coming! Since Baba got me so into Lego, they decided to have a Lego party for me.

Stephanie Gugu made me a Lego man outfit for my special day. Thank you, Gugu. I word it upside down, no, I was upside down in the sofa chair, wearing the Lego man outfit.

Shichu 姐姐 (older sister) came early to help Mama out. She also brought a strawberry cheesecake without cheese in it.

My big red bicycle! Thank you, Popo!

Mama told me that I am going to be a big brother soon.

Our guests were gathering together and singing happy birthday song to me.

My Third Birthday

I felt so flattered.

I blew the big "3" candle and engulfed the cake into my mouth. Baba made the best birthday cake in the world.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to thank you to come to my birthday party.

After the birthday party, I went to the front yard and played football for a while.

My Birthday Party at Preschool

Today is May, 2nd. It is not my birthday yet, but it is the last day for me in preschool for this week. Mama and Baba prepared ice cream and watermelon for my class to celebrate my 3rd birthday. To make me feel very special, Mama bought me a small chocolate cake.

After a nap, everybody sit down to enjoy the food.

Tulips in April

The Spring is finally here. In order to find more colors of the Spring, Mama and Sissi decided to visit the Boston Public Garden to enjoy the tulips.

Some necessary preparation work needed to be done before the trip. One was the warming up activities, playing toys. The other one was filling up bellies, being shoveled some food through our mouth.

Once everything was ready, Mama and Sissi drove to downtown Boston and parked near the South Station. Then, we walked through the Boston Comm to the public garden.

The public garden is all the spring that you could find. Beautiful view,  beautiful me, Mama, Popo and Yeye.

What a vibrant color!

Didi, wanna to come with me?

Duck, duck, you have a big mouth.

I am in a good mood for food after walking around the public garden.
