One Year Ago (IV): Christmas and afterwards

On the first day of Christmas, I climbed upstairs to see if Santa dropped us presents. It was my first time to climb the stairs from the bottom to the top. I was doped by Christmas spirit.

Stairs

Then, Santa put me in a basket and made me into a present.

Santa put me in a basket

Slides are not my thing

Presents, presents! Color gift wraps everywhere! Done!

We wore red and took pictures in front of green Christmas tree.

Both Tucker and I helped Mimi to clean the floor.

On the second day of Christmas, it snowed in Birmingham. We had a white Christmas!

We joined some activities in the riverside galleria mall.

On the third day of Christmas, we went to Costco’s to check their inventories.

On the fourth day of Christmas, I did not remember what we did.

On the fifth day of Christmas, we went back to Boston by Train.

One Year Ago (III): Looking forward to my first Chritsmas

On the fifth day before Christmas, Mama took me to a walk. I tasted the flavor of dry leaves and twigs.

On the forth day before Christmas, I bathed in Tucker's ball tub.

I had a sweet moment with Baba and Mama in the morning.

Sara's family visited during the day.

You spin me right round right round

Tiny bubbles

I had sweet moment with Mimi and Papa in the evening.

Do re mi

Peek - a - boo with Papa

On the third day before Christmas, I pushed Tucker's lion walker.

I played in Tucker's crib.

And I watched grown ups eat their meals.

On the second day before Christmas, I dreamed about Christmas.

We visited Lori's house.

I practiced my techniques to stand up.

Yes! I can stand up

On Christmas Eve, Tucker and I became twins. My dear Stephanie Gugu made us the same train outfit.

We ate at a fancy Japanese/Thai/Asian restaurant.

I played swing at the porch of Mimi and Papa's house.

I sit on the porch to enjoy the sun.

One Year Ago (II): Choo Choo from Boston to Birmingham

Yes, we made it. We took Choo Choo train from Boston to Birmingham, AL to spend my first Christmas with Mimi, Papa, Stephenie Gugu, David Shushu and Tucker.

We started from South Station in Boston on Dec, 18th. I thought we would take the train inside the glass window but instead we took much bigger train outside.

Do you want to know why we took train not airplane? The reason is very simple. We do not want to go through body scanner in the airport. Shichu bought us Santa T-shirts to amuse us. In that picture, Santa frowned when he had to go through body scanner.

We arrived at the Birmingham Amtrak station around noon the next day. Stephanie Gugu told us when Tucker knew that we took the train from Boston down to Birmingham, he drew this banner to welcome us.

Stephanie Gugu and I finally met.

Tucker and I finally met.

Bell and I finally met.

I also finally met David Shushu and Richie as well.

Wow, I have my own stocking, my first Christmas stocking. Now, I am counting the days for Christmas.

One Year Ago (I): Jiujiu, Jiuma and Xi Gege

Yeah! JiuJiu and JiuMa were back to Boston. Xi Gege was coming with them too. We stopped by Steven and Sara's house on the way to meet them downtown the first day they arrived in Boston. A bear and a deer!

Two days later, JiuJiu and JiuMa experienced the commuter rail when they took it with Baba from Boston to Framingham. Popo and Mama made dinner for them.

It was my first time to see Xi Gege closely. My God, he is a grown man now.

After dinner, Xi Gege sang “Twinkle twinke little star”. He has a handsome voice.

Mama could not find other appropriate places to add this picture, so she just dropped it here. Because it was hard not to include the picture with me smiling my eyes to 弯弯的月亮 (crescent).
