A Picnic at Hopkinton State Park

On the trip to Georges island last month, Mama encouraged herself to go up to speak to one mom that she saw the third time this summer. The first time was the blueberry picking in July and the second time was at the Stone Zoo in August. They found out that we live not far away from each other. This summer, we also frequently visited Wellesley public library for Kid’s reading program, so Sissi and Mama know several other moms from there. They decided it was the time to get together and have some fun before the weather is getting cold.

A decision was made that we would go to Hopkinton State Park to have a picnic.

On a sunny September morning, our family drove to the Hopkinton State Park to meet our new friends. When we arrived there, Mama could not believe that she had never been to this beautiful place even though we live so close. There already many people embraced the sun and green there. We located a long table under a shade and moved our food, utensils and baby’s stuff near it. Moms, Dads and kids started to come. After everyone was there, we started our picnic officially.

Hello, moms and dads! Thank you for the delicious food.

The bench is long enough for Baba to have an early afternoon nap.

Come here, what kind of bug this is!

Mom took me to the water after lunch. I was turning around and around joyfully in the water…
