In order to catch the tail of the hot summer, we went to the Colt State Park, Rhode Island for a beach trip in the beginning of September. Colt State Park is often referred to as the 'Gem' of the State Parks [1]. The park lands were previously owned by Bristol industrialist Samuel P. Colt [2]. I guess that is why the park got its name from.
Did Baba look like he was ready to enjoy the afternoon?
There was a small fine sand area along the rocky beach bay. To me, this is the "gem" of the "Gem".
A huge bubble!
I found that sometimes climbing rocks can be fun!
It was getting late, but I still did not want to leave the "gem".
In the evening, Mama and Baba found a way to make me leave the park and we drove into the Bristol town to find a place for supper.
The beautiful place (show below) caught the eye of Baba's car and we stopped there. There indeed a nice restaurant by the side. My eyes enjoyed the beautiful meals (landscapes) while my tummy was waiting for our delicious food.
