My Playgrounds

Hmm, let me tell you. I conquered the playground near my house. This is just one of my regular playgrounds.

Gladiators' Gauntlet

Sliding for fun and profit

My second playground is the front yard of my house.

Yes, this is the weed. Oh, I am certain about it.

Sometimes, I fell into deep thought about the meaning of life ...

You want to guess what my third playground is. Yes, my house!

My trigger. Both Guoguo and I love to ride on him.

Oh, I love my blanket. It is the only one.

Popo looks after me everyday.

Hurricane party on the hurricane day. Dad make Mama 'hurricane' and it knocked her down for two hours.

I also like to cook.

Cooking for Ma

My Baba won a trophy, a Champion in a Go tournament. I am very proud of him.

The first batch of hamburgers Baba cooked on the new grill.

Georges Island

On one of the beautiful sunny summer morning, we took a ferry to Georges Island. It was my first time to be on a boat at a sea. It was also my first time to be in an island in a sea! We had wonderful adventure there and we did not mind at all that we had thunderstorm on the way back home.

Run, run, run, everybody, run, run, run,

Hey, what was over there?

Ok, I am coming.

Hold on, let me take a took,

I see,

I suddenly felt that Guoguo’s stroller was the best toy in the world.

Georges Island is dominated by historic Fort Warren, a Civil War-era fort known for its graceful granite archways and reputed ghost, the Lady in Black [1]. It was named for Revolutionary war hero Dr. Joseph Warren who sent Paul Revere on his famous ride. Dr. Warren was killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill [2]. The fort was constructed from 1833-1861, completed shortly after the beginning of the American Civil War. Fort Warren defended the harbor in Boston from 1861 through the end of World War II. It served as a prison for Confederate officers and government officials during the Civil War and remained active through Spanish-American War and World War I & II [2].

With Mama’s and Baba’s Friends

Eric’s Family Visit

Eric and his parents visited us in the middle of August. They brought me a toy. Let me check out what is in it.

Two important activities occurred when they were here. One was playing board games.

The other was learning how to cook.

Even though they were very busy with those two activities, they still managed to talk a short walk to the Learned pond.

Play at Kim’s house

At the second to last weekend of August, we visited Baba's friend, Kim. I played with balloons inside.

Balloons are fun

And I played at the playground outside Kim's house.

It is a piece of cake to climb those stairs.

Do I want to slide down? I need to think.

I also climbed down the stairs.

Boston Restaurant Week with Amanda

It was Saturday when we went to Kim's house. The next day, August, 21st, we met Mama's friend Amanda for Boston Restaurant Week. They chose Chenz'a Henri near Harvard Square.

Before dinner, Mama and Amanda went shopping at Anthoropolgie at Harvard Square. Baba was being very bored in the lobby to wait for them. I did not mind waiting for them at all.

That day turned out to be Amanda's special day, B-day. Happy birthday, Amanda!

I am ready to eat.
